The Irish Army type recruits the Dublin gouger under the auspices of the local High Sheriff to extract unowed income and to damage property. At all stages both operate under higher authority and have cut themselves adrift from the law and proper legally-authorised norms and parameters (rules and limits) and are acting outside the the law and civilised behaviour.

The Dublin poor who find their way into the Irish Army truly represent the sweepings of the gutter and are more than a match for any baseball-wielding loyalist or Scot. They despise even country people from Meath and Wicklow.

These people are the offal of society and must be given long sentences when they come before the courts for crimes of arson,robbery and violence.

They are spat out of the Cockneys mouth,so rough, thuggish and uncouth are they.
