You will have to compensate your victims from what you get from the courts but you should have enough left to pay your solicitor with and live comfortably. Give your sister some for looking after you and fending off most of the wrong attention and don't forget your brother's son. He is your only successor entitled to anything from you. Like every other Free Stater the rest of them only do things for show. Let that be a warning to you about giving money away to people you don't know such as the Vincent de Paul. Sign nothing and bring them all to court. That's what you do to a thief and all those people have stolen from you. They will tell the truth in court or they will be sent to prison. Go to a good,respectable solicitor who doesn't accept money from the police, someone like Sean Mc Hugh or Frank Mc Manus or a good barrister for an opinion if you don't want to go to court and prefer to settle out of court. One solicitor is as good as the next but some of them are born mischief makers to a -t-".
