Jedes Jahr,etwas neues. Coshquin.Why?

The report I received was that "Two or three people who I know went into  a checkpoint outside Derry and never been seen again". That report was received from Jim Wray.

I was asked for a "favour".

I asked Wray to leave me alone in the sitting room of Raymond Smith's house and I would come up with something because I had had a very bad time in England and wasn't able to think properly. He left the room. I thought it over.

Two minutes later he returned.

I ordered thata known collaborator-it turned out that he was  a civilian British Army driver-be coerced to  drive a bomb into the checkpoint at Coshquin.

To prevent escape by this collaborator and the British soldiers manning the checkpoint, I advised that we showed him a timer mechanism on top of the explosives whereas the actual radio-activated detonation mechanism was hidden under the explosives. That was my riposte to the fanciful 'cover' story put out by the South Fermanagh/South Leitrim Command of the IRA that a British Army radio scanner (a radio transmitter)  had detonated the bomb at the War Memorial in Enniskillen in November 1987.

(Kathleen Gleeson, Obersturmbannfuhrerin of those misguided hen-pecked men,was a pathological liar who had wanted to erase all trace of my great-uncle whose name is on the memorial. He was killed in April 1915 at Festubert-Richebourg in the service of the British against German militarism and his cousin not long afterwards).

.....

The operation was successful and drew the ire of the Bishop of Derry who impeached that I "burn in hell".

Many years later I sought absolution from a "republican" priest based in Enniskillen.

He refused me absolution of my grave sin. I was given absolution by a conservative priest some time later because it weighed greatly on my mind that I had been damned into hell by a bishop.

But....

....it says a lot for people clutching at straws that they regard him as a republican and, even more wide of the mark,Loyalists talk about Provo Priests.

The truth of the pudding is the eating of it.

There is no such thing as a Provo Priest, only one delegated by the bishop to mediate between politico and state (or police and army).
